Mike participated in Pipe Nation as Ryan, an East Coaster who moved to Alberta for opportunity—a storyline with clear parallels to his own journey.
The project drew coverage for casting real oil and gas workers, filming in Alberta communities and portraying the industry through a more personal lens. The series later received festival recognition and wider distribution attention.
